Inaugural SciDEAL Cohort Announced!

We are delighted to welcome Erin Symonds, Lyndsey Gray, Sanjana Mukherjee, Alexandra Maldonado López, and Melany Garcia as the first cohort of the National Science Policy Network (NSPN) Science Diplomacy Exchange and Learning (SciDEAL) pilot program. Over the next 6 months, they will support a wide range of science diplomacy projects with our international partner organizations to advance the role of science in international affairs and governance and will develop tangible outputs and products, including academic and policy publications, gain unparalleled access to the leading science diplomacy experts worldwide, and receive career guidance and mentoring to pursue a career in science diplomacy.

SciDEAL establishes project-based collaborations between early-career scientists and science diplomacy institutions, including non-profit organizations, embassies, and consulates, in the United States and internationally.

Applications open for our Science Diplomacy Virtual Fellowship

SciDipGLOBAL is excited to partner with the National Science Policy Network (NSPN) to launch a Science Diplomacy Virtual Fellowship as part of the NSPN Science Diplomacy Exchange and Learning (SciDEAL) pilot program.

SciDEAL establishes project-based collaborations between early-career scientists and science diplomacy institutions, including non-profit organizations, embassies, and consulates, in the United States and internationally. Applicants must be NSPN members.

NSPN SciDEAL participants will have the opportunity to work directly with Dr. Marga Gual Soler in all aspects of the mission of SciDipGLOBAL, including designing government science diplomacy strategies, drafting policy briefs, organizing events, managing communications, and developing training resources for a wide range of audiences.

Fellows will help develop tangible outputs and products, including academic and policy publications, gain unparalleled access to the leading science diplomacy experts worldwide, and receive career guidance and mentoring to pursue a career in science diplomacy.
